15th Anniversary of and GHLK Ministries

15 anniversary

Today marks the 15th anniversary of and GHLK Ministries. In some ways this day makes me very happy. In other ways this day saddens me. It brings me joy to think of all the people whose lives have been touched over these years by the works God has wrought through this ministry and all its offspring. It saddens me that much of the original vision has been slow to manifest.

The spirit has blessed me personally over these 15 years. My life is far different than it was 15 years ago. I am two and a half months away from my 6th marriage anniversary. Our daughter will be 4 years old in three months from today. And very soon God will bless our family with some additions. Oh God has been truly good. Father Hurley blessed me to be ordained in the Universal Hagar’s Spiritual Church, which I love. God has allowed me to rise to various positions in the association that I thought “they” would never allow me to hold.

In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would be privileged to oversee the UHSCA Literature at this stage. Maybe in my 40s or 50s but not now. This time last year our first book, Biblical Mastery 101: Practical Bible Study Lessons, it the market. While not on the best seller list, we are blessed to have received sales every month since its release. Praise God for that!

Now the spirit is calling me higher. The spirit desires for me to solidify these works that I have already accomplished. My goal is to preserve the works of Father George W. Hurley. Upon my departure from this life, I want to leave behind many, many books, videos, CDs, etc. that expound upon the True Everlasting Gospel of Christ.

This is my life’s work. It WILL be so. I decree it to be so. It IS DONE. For Father Hurley has decreed it—in his day—that God would raise up a generation that will obey. I am in that generation. I dedicate myself to this cause: to make sure the works of Father Hurley remain on record for my children’s, children’s children. In other words, I want my great-grandchildren to be Hagars as I am privileged to be the great-grandson of our Prophet & Founder G.W. Hurley and Spiritual Mother C.B. Hurley.

May God bless each of you that has supported this ministry in any way, shape, or form. May God bless each one that encouraged me!

Thank you to my wife, Mme. Courtney S. Latimer-Knight, who has backed me these last 6+ years. Thank you to my daughter, Selena G. Latimer-Knight, who has been my heart since before she was born. Thank you to my new girls who are soon to come. Thank you to my mother and father, the Reverend Cassandra S. Latimer-Knight and Deacon Richard Knight, who gave me the foundation in life I needed. And last but not least, thank you Grandma—Princess Georgia Latimer—my first pastor, teacher, Princess, President, and friend.

I look forward to the next 15 years and beyond.

I have the honor to be your obedient servant,

Rev. George H. Latimer-Knight
