Laughing at the Enemy – Evening Message #5
I just finished going through my prayers this evening. In the middle of praying, I just started laughing for no apparent reason. I laughed so hard that I fell to the floor. While sitting on the floor laughing, my mind flashed randomly through the last 12 years.
I saw various difficulties that have been overcome. I could hear certain church leaders telling me they would stop me from rising in the religion. They are now dead, but the most ironic things is, those very ones, in the end, helped elevate me to where I am today. I could that so-called college counselor telling me I “may not be college material”. Following that I saw my Bachelor’s class ring flash before me. I just kept laughing. Today I registered for classes in the Spring semester. I just kept laughing.
Join me right now, laugh at the enemy. Laugh at your troubles because “weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning”. (Psalm 30:5b) Amen. Amen. Amen.
