Sex: the thing that takes up the least amount of time and causes the most amount of trouble.—John Barrymore

Sex is still a dirty word in popular culture. But biblically sex is not bad. Without sex, none of us would be here. Even people who were born through of in vitro fertilization or other artificial means, the process itself was created by God. Hebrews 13:4 says, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.”

Even some married couples have chosen to avoid sex. A couple in Topeka has remained abstinent for two years into their marriage. (http://www.larknews.com/archives/217) During their 14-month courtship they abstained from sex. But after 25-months of marriage, the most sexual activity they’ve engaged in is kissing. I find this very interesting. The article has motivated me to do a bible study on the subject. What does the bible say? Stay tuned.
