Father Bernard Lucas Playing Intensely – Morning Message #6
As I woke up around 3am, I could hear a saxophone playing. As my eyes opened I saw a tall man seemingly in the distance. Continuing to look it occurred to me that it was the late Father Bernard Lucas of the Universal Hagar’s Spiritual Church in Chicago, Illinois. He was wearing a dark suit, and had on a white dress shirt with the top button open. As his face became clearer, the sweat was pouring down his face as he was playing his melody. He was playing with such intensity.
Whatever you do in life, do it with intensity. Have a vision for your life and go after it. Focus all your energy into it. Whatever it is, let it be your passion, something you love. Father Lucas loved music. I do not remember much about him, because I had not started visiting Chicago at that time. But the times I was around him, he came across as a loving man. I know his spirit is still watching over his family. Be like Father Lucas, be intense with whatever you. And with that intensity, add love. Your obedient servant, Rev. George Latimer-Knight
